MAC 10.2 Users

This just in (cut & paste from an email):
"Tell the patron to use his IE browser for the classic environment (for OS 9 or earlier). This is a totally different browser than the one he is trying to use with OS 10.2.
OS 10.2 can run applications for the classic environment.
This information comes from my webmaster who is a MAC guru and he says he has tried all the other browsers, including Opera, Mozilla, Netscape, IE for OS 10.2, etc. and this is the only one that will work.
Your MAC user should understand what you are saying to him/her, even if you don't."

LINCC does not have Macintoshes in the office so we rely on hearsay to find out how the WebPAC works with Mac browsers.

*For Systems 8.1 and above, JAVA functionality may be increased by downloading and installing Mac OS Runtime for Java (MRJ). MRJ works by default with Microsoft Internet Explorer, and most other browsers may also be configured to work with MRJ.

Go to the Apple software download site at http://www.info.apple.com/support/downloads.html and search for "runtime for java" in the search box. Select the most recent version of the software, read the software documentation, and click on the software icon to start downloading.

AOL Browser

AOL users get their version of Internet Explorer from an AOL disk that does NOT include all the files they need to run JAVA WebPAC. Download a full version of the browser from the Microsoft homepage or download Netscape.
