probably never tried before. We'll explore some techniques for finding
sound, picture, video and all things multimedia, as well as the traditional
web pages.

HANDS-ON ROCKET BOOKS

Rocket e-book, on loan to us from the collection of Salem Public Library.
Not a demo or lecture, this is a drop in opportunity to find out what the
fuss is all about and see them for yourself. Several Rocket e-books will be
available for you to handle and read.
-
100% COMMUNICATION (TWO-PART SESSION)
With Mary Devlin, PORTALS
Director. The main cause of problems -- both at work and at home --
comes from faulty or incomplete communication. We think we've communicated
effectively, only to find out that what we intended to convey wasn't what
the other person got at all. Words are an important part, but only a part,
of communication. The non-verbal parts of communication are even more
critical. Wouldn't it be helpful to see how this works and get a feel for
some simple ways to communicate more effectively. Using the
tools taught in "One Hundred Percent Communication" will attune
you to others in a new and powerful way. You will:
* Increase the level of understanding you reach with others * Develop
flexibility and clarity in your language choices * Gain insight into
the way others think and react * Recognize and tap into non-verbal
communication * Learn to develop rapport with others within seconds.
-
